Since 1981, Renaissance Balloons, Inc. has been providing promotional ballooning services to our customers across the country.  Our commercially licensed pilots have over 100 years of combined experience.  Our president, Philip G. Glebe, is a former U.S. National Hot Air Balloon Champion.  The full-time support staff and our base of operations is located in Howell, Michigan, USA.

Renaissance Balloons, Inc. personnel are public relations oriented with an emphasis on learning and understanding our customer's goals and objectives.  This role is vitally important because our balloon teams may well be the only contact that the general public will ever have with a representative of our client's company.  Our ability to work with the media, entertain clients, and interact with the general public is crucial to a balloon program's overall success.

Over the years, we have operated national programs for many Fortune 500 companies. This list includes General Motors (Pontiac, GMC, Chevy Trucks, ACDelco, GM Goodwrench), R.J. Reynolds Tobacco Co. (Winston), United Distillers and Vintners (1800 Tequila), M&M/Mars, Ben & Jerry's Homemade, Inc., and many others.  These balloon teams traversed the United States attending balloon rallies, car races, sporting events, concerts, and other events deemed by their sponsors to be beneficial to advertising and/or public relations.  Our travels have been extensive, covering virtually every state of the union, as well as Canada, Puerto Rico, Japan and Europe.

In addition to national campaigns, we also specialize in handling accounts with state or regional limitations.  For example, we have operated a program for the Michigan Consolidated Gas Company.  This balloon travels to small town festivals and events throughout the MichCon marketing area in the state of Michigan.

Renaissance Balloons, Inc. is fully capitalized to withstand the initial financial impact that is realized during the start-up of any national program.  We are fully insured, including aircraft liability, aircraft hull, workmen's compensation, product liability, general liability and automotive coverages.

We operate an FAA-certified (#RB6R092J) inspection and maintenance station within our facility.  This FAA recognition allows us to maintain our customer's equipment in superior condition and perform routine maintenance with ease.  This facility services balloon operators and owners within the Great Lakes region.

Our facility consists of 1,500 square feet of offices, 1,500 square feet in the repair station and 3,000 square feet of shop and warehouse space.  We are centrally located in Howell, Michigan, with regular office hours to facilitate interaction with our customers.

We developed and market nationally the Chase Commander, the only vehicle available designed exclusively for ballooning.  In a motorhome configuration, it combines the cargo capacity for a balloon system with tremendous graphic capabilities for maximum exposure.  It also serves as an entertainment center for guests, customers and media.

Renaissance Balloons, Inc. represents Cameron Balloons, the largest balloon manufacturer in the world.  Additionally, we market a full line of inflatable rooftop balloons (cold air balloons) to complement a hot air balloon program.  We can also manage the cold air program including scheduling, shipping, maintenance, and installation.
